CEO: Enda Kenny, Ph.D
Enda has over 23 years experience in the biopharma and medical technology industries. He has held General Management, Regulatory and Quality, Clinical Research and R&D Management positions in European and US healthcare companies. He has extensive experience in bringing healthcare products to market and managing large projects, budgets and teams.
Since 2004, he has specialized in working with start-up biotech companies and during this time has had assignments at Chiroxia Ltd (CEO), Ireland, a medical device R&D company, Diabetica Ltd (CEO), UK, a diabetes and obesity R&D company and OrthoMimetics Ltd (COO), UK, an orthopaedics R&D company. From 1996 to 2004 was Vice President of Global Regulatory Affairs and Quality at Stryker Biotech, the biopharma division of Stryker Corporation where he was responsible for the market approval of a new first in class recombinant growth factor for treating bone fractures (OP-1/BMP-7).
Prior to this he held positions at an operating division of Inamed Corporation (Ireland) and Delta Biotechnology Ltd (UK). Enda obtained his Ph.D in Biochemistry from Imperial College, London (1984) and a BSc in Microbiology from University College Dublin (1980).
