The platform technology is based around glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1), and the lead molecule is
ROSE-010, a stable GLP-1 analogue.

Rose Pharma was formerly known as Gastrotech Pharma.
Gastrotech was founded in 2003 and had a broad interest in gastroenterology.

With the positive clinical data on IBS and GLP-1, we are now focused on development of ROSE-010. To reflect this and to underline the company’s tight therapeutic focus, we have renamed the company

About Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS)

A key attribute of IBS and the driver for overall severity is abdominal pain. Many patients report breakthrough pain attacks, analogous to migraine headaches in frequency and impact for which there is no effective treatment. Many pain medications have gastric side effects and there is a need for alternate IBS specific pain medication. Rose estimates that the US market for an on-demand IBS pain medication is over $1 billion.
